Had a great day today, the sun was out and Rome was beautiful, slightly misty and blue skies. THree of us went to see the Ara Pacis, an Augustan altar, big, white, sculptural. It was great, it has a new building which has been a bit controversial, by the American architect Richard Meier, but I really like it.

Then this afternoon we played football for 2 hours, we are getting better which is good as we have a game against the American Academy next week and we CAN"T lose. I am really enjoying learning how to play and how not to run away from the ball, I even took some dives *puffs chest*
