My poor blog is all neglected

Willl update now.

Working backwards, I have just been to pilates and am now eating a huge apricot biscuit and having coffee, just to balance things out. Went to the market and bought yummy food this morning as everything will be clsed tomorrow. I think I will make zucchini and potato bake, must get some nice red wine too and stock up on the delciousness that is hot cross buns

Yesterday
Visited Juan’s studio and had a coffee, twas very good to catch up. His studio is in such a great place, just above Centre place, you basically walk out the door, take a single step and sit down at a café. Plus I could see the shoes in Kinki gerlinki at the same time which is also good, well for me anyway, can't really see Juan kicking up his heels in a pair of high heeled lace up navy boots What else? Bought myself a lovely art deco-ish alice band, very pretty.Well Mark got a new job so I bought him a drink.


Hmm what has been going on in my life? Well I have no internet at home now, hence the lackadaisical updating. I am thinking of not getting it back for a bit as I am getting lots of work done as a result, we will see how I cope.

Tuesday was warm and gorgeous. Had coffee with Carla and got my stuff back from the weekend, though I seem to have lost my diorshow eyeliner and had only used it once . Ah well that’ll learn me to get ragingly drunk. Did some library work trawling through rare books catalogue, found a few interesting things, not that they are necessarily relevant to my work though. Came home and worked a lil bit then went out for drinks.

Monday was Mark’s paper which went well, David now wants him to do a PhD, I think he should, he is clearly never going to finish his Archaeology one and music is much more him now. Had to dash back and forth getting him images but still got a little work done.

Sunday I was sick, that is all.

Saturday had breakfast at Eliza’s with the good ness of hot cross buns and coffee and honey and lashings of buttery goodness. Stayed for ages, then wandered home and having got there felt very down and lost and so got into bed and watched dvds all afternoon. Then Carla picked me up for her truckies and trannies party, I just threw together some tacky outfit, I’m not sure if being able to dress up like a trannie in about five seconds from wardrobe should make me happy or slightly worried I think the photos say it all really.

Oh well. I think me and mark are going to break up, though I’m not sure, bah, hmmm. I need someone to talk to, like a counsellor. I want to sort out what is going on in my head. I think I want everything to end, I think, I think. I want a break. What to do?

I got a text from Will this morning (at 5am!!) which made me happy, despite being rudely awoken.

I was tempted before to send Mark a text saying I loved him, but I don’t know, I am so confused. Of course I love him, but is it the right kind of love? Oh dear.

If I could be anywhere right now it would be at the pub with Ian and Will watching sport and drinking beer and being silly. Really that would make me soo content.

Back into the workin today and already I ams tarting to remember how bloody hard it is to just sit and work all day back home. So many distractions, people wanting you to do things, housework etc etc etc. Booo.

Had a nice day yesterday in St Kilda, had some beers and people watched and played our gaydar game. Caught the ferry across to williamstown and had crepes and cider then felt very tired and trekked home and mooched the evening away. Saw lots of fireworks from our balcony twas very cool, everyone in the city was out watching them and oohing and ahhing. the city.

Boo. I am depressed today. Maybe it was drinking wine at lunch. But I *should* be happy, technically. It is sunny, I don't have any work to do, I have my boy around. But I spose happiness isn't technical is it? I just have no idea what I want anymore, I would quite like to be left alone. I would quite like like to not be here. I would quite like to be in Rome really.

Got the battery out, how excitement.

Yesterday was nice, had a sleep in then went out for a wander, I need a filing cabinet but am trying to find something other than a big metal one as I don't like my chances of getting it up the stairs. Couldn't anything so bought a new shirt, v. nice cream colour with ruffles and three quarter sleeves.

Then decided to have a campari and sit in the sun and read the paper.

Then went for another drink at the wine bar, then headed out to the launch of an art journal, more drinks and catching up with people.
Then went for dinner with friends at Jimmy Watson's, so more drinks and very yummy food. Though it does annoy me when restaurants just serve one big pasta. Like I got cannelloni, but it was just one big one, and my firend just got one huge ravioli (raviolo?). Anyways we also had dessert and then Jarrrod paid for us all which was so nice of him, then we went for cocktails which tasted like chocolate orange, I sent drunk text messages to friends in Rome and we ended up having Jarrod and Tara to stay over as their ride home (to Geelong) had gotten drunk and vanished. Good times.

My computer was rattling when i carried it down here before and I was just looking at it and there is an AA battery in one of the empty card slots

I am mooching on the couch, going over to visit my parents soon which will be good. Cuddle little hamish dog too.

I am also trying to sort some photos to get printed, hard decisions though, I want them all printed!

I am also feeling down, I was so depressed last night, I hadn't felt like that for absolutely ages, maybe even since before I went on ADs. Hmmm I am so confused, I wish life came with a handbook, I hate being in a position where neither choice seems good. I really think I got married too young, I am so different now to who I was 6 years ago when we met. *sigh* Maybe these feelings will pass.

I went to watch the marathon today was good fun, we had a group of artists at the potter at melbourne uni with these specially made 'yeah' flags. We cheered everyone, including the cameramen and the police and the ambulance. Then had a squiz at the exhibition about sport and art. Twas pretty good.










Last night was fun too, saw carla darling, and was checked out by an athlete from Mauritius.

Good times. Still feeling a bit flat though, I suppose it is natural after a big trip, though I feel as though my whole life is about to turn upside down, what will I do?

Back again, uneventful flight, I think i really am getting used to them, which is good I spose. Watched a few movies, felt the need to watch romantical ones and cry, haha. Also watched Harry Potter, really don't get the fascination with them. Hmmm, anyways I will be progressively updating all my trip in here I know everyone is just desperate to see hundreds of silly photos I have taken, so don't fret too much they will be here soon. haha.

What else, what else? Have wandered around and said hello to my melby, wtached some fireworks last night from my balcony, have had a big fight with mark so I guess everything is sliding back to normal. *sigh*

Me and lizey are hitting florence, well she is off to the uffizi, I am waiting for a bloody train to lucca, joy. Cortona was amazing. Photos coming soon, well probably when I am back in rome, but in the meantime think olive groves, little stone farmouse, home cooked risotto and pasta, delicious wine, a roaring fire, good chats and a beautiful garden. Milan tomorrow, not sure how successful this lucca venture will be but at least ai can try. God I just need more time!
